Pancake breakfast with Santa, you know the fat man from the North Pole? Just kidding it’s just a guy dressed as Santa, that’s one fun thing that you can do with the family this season in Maple Ridge. Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows are synonymous with festivals, if you are into festivals, you can never miss one when you visit the area.
This is a place where the old meets with the new if you visit the area you will get to experience a unique blend of scenic landscapes and energetic urban centers. This means that there is everything for everyone out here.
Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows are located in the northeast section of Metro Vancouver; the region stretches between a group of mountains known as Golden Ears and the Fraser River.
Rivers, lakes, and mountains what could be better than that? Oh, I know good food, nightlife, and nature and the best part are you can find all that in the region.
This means that if you are the type of person who enjoys nature, food or nightlife this is the place for you. If you want your kids to go to great schools, I suggest that you either move to Maple Ridge or Pitt Meadows, the schools offer great programs suitable for kids. This is also one of the safest places to be in British Columbia making it the perfect place to raise a family.
It is estimated that there are over 86,000 residents in the region today; the communities here are strong welcoming and friendly. That’s why Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows are one of the most visited places in British Columbia.
When the kids are out of school there are lots of healthy fun activities that can keep them busy; there are museums, theaters, art galleries, festivals and markets that all vie for your attention.
So instead of letting your kids stay indoors this holiday you should take them horseback riding, kayaking, canoeing, sightseeing or on an educational visit to one of the many farms or ranches in the region.
